Description

NGC 7814 (Caldwell 43) is a spiral galaxy located in the constellation Pegasus, about 40 million light-years from Earth. The galaxy can be seen edge-on from Earth. It is sometimes called "The Little Sombrero" and is a smaller version of the M 104. The background of NGC 7814 contains a dense concentration of faint, distant galaxies.
